Incredible India!

Yippee! I finally touched my forefather's land - The incredible India. After a year of planning it, we- my gang and I stepped on the fertile land on 27th August 2011. We were there for 8-beautiful-days. Here are some of scribblings jotted by me to remember the memorable trip.

It's in chronological order, and there will be several posts on it because there's just sooooo many things to write about :)

DAY 1 - Sunny & humid, a beautiful day.

Friday, 19th August 2011

1 am- Check sunglasses, check sweater, check shawls, check sunblock, check my sunny shade, check passport!............all done ;)

YEAH!!!! I’m officially ready for INDIA

1.30 am - Waiting for Mr.BF, he’s on his way to pick me up!

2.00 am - We are in KL sentral, camwhoring in McD, and I was extremely sleepy + threw a
little tantrum ....hehe

3.00 am- Finally took the skybus after getting lost for few minutes. My luggage is freaking
heavy! Thanks to Mr.BF for exchanging the burden :D

4.30 am- Reached LCCT , we checked-in the luggage, phewww… and now all we have to do is to
wait for the rest of the gang

5.30am- Gang is here. Waiting for boarding announcement. We’re on the express boarding list!

6.00am- The announcement came! We quickly pushed through the crowds and made our way to the plane! Paused here and there to snap pictures, can't stop being me :)

6.11 am – We’re on the plane!

7.50 am – Flight was delayed…20 ppl can’t board d plane so their luggage had to be taken off
from the cargo. Plane finally took off.

7.50- 11.40 am – We are flying…… and we ordered Chicken rice + special milo tarik for
breakfast my digestive system is still in the process of recovering so both of us shared
the meal ;) After that, we snoozed off till we heard the announcement
that we’re landing in couple of minutes! So excited!

We touched down the fertile land. We were received by Rajesh (a friend of our collegue that helped us to arrange our trip) + our driver anne,Mr. Paneer (The best driver ever)

:> Checked- in the hotel, it was quite pricey although we won’t be spending nights there…
:> Rested for a while and hunger forced us out of the room in search of food.
:> Planned to go to Anantha Bhavan. GPS said it’s just 500m away. We followed the direction

and started walking. 10 minutes passed.. and we’re still walking…no sight of Anantha Bhavan. :> Checked the GPS again, and goodness gracious now it says 2.5 km! We’re hungry, tired and

bleeding sweat.

We almost gave up, started walking back to our lodge while planning where else can we eat. Everyone was exhausted. But hey, lady luck was on our side, we saw a decent hotel and we decided to give it a try. It's called Lakshmi Bhavan and the food was real heaven! And it looks hygiene. The sambare was awesome combination to go with the pickles. YUMMY!

After lunch, we rested in our room, while exploring the channels on TV. Snoozed for a couple of minutes and we refreshed ourselves. We left to Ooty around 4.30 pm.

Greetings everyone, it has been months since i update/ write an entry in my blog. I know, it has been sleeping for too long. I choose to thirst the public eyes and change it into private viewing, for a personal reason and I guess the confinement period of my blog is no longer necessary.

This blog is a collection of my writings- the year I entered Varsity till the near-end of my degree. Reading back the older entries reminded me to the good old days, and made me look at how awful my writings were. Well, that's the first reason why I chose to start blogging, apart from the bad diary-keeping.

I understood one thing while going through the entries, that most of the memories fade fast unless we document it. Let it be through diary writing, notes, saving sms/email, pictures, and blogging. I believe the later two are the best. :)

Happy New Year readers!...Its never too late to wish anyway...So i really hope this year will be a good one for everybody..May the kind Lord bless all of you constantly.
2010 is also a beginning for a new phase in my life. All the while, i've been pampered by my parents (all the pocket money and stuffs) , and enjoyed my life as a student. Now that i've stepped into the working world, i've no more freedom to move around as i wish ( i have to explain on my absence to work :P ) . Whereas a student, i've had too much pleasure in staying up until the wee hours, and waking up late (really late) , which is a total no-no for my current job. I've to be at work before the 7.20am bell rings. Oh yeah, i'm going to school. Funny, it may sound. But this time, as a teacher :D. My dream has realized, finally. And now i can't wait for my graduation, which is going to be in 2 months time. Hopefully it'll be on time as scheduled.

Talking about working, it is not as easy as what i've thought. The bunch of people i'm meeting everyday, is totally different from the coursemates i've had during my university life. There is less fun, and more tension in the working world. Selfishness, Greed, Self-centered and jelousy infested colony. Those who managed to endure this, they'll survive. Its hard to dumb your feelings and ignore the urging nerves,( not forgotting the raging hormons) to fight back for justice. You will be repressed. Well its too early to estimate the depth of the river, i'm just testing the water for now. Better hopes for New Year, by starting afresh, leaving the old and bad ones behind.

The Unplanned Visit- Part 2

So here it is, the post that supposed to be published long time ago.

Kellie- Smith did not only build the castle, he build something else too! and it is as beautiful as the castle too, so this is it! The hindu temple. It was built after a mysterious illness broke out, killing many of Smith's workers. He was then told that a temple must be built in order to appease the gods. He immediately transferred his worker to build the temple. After that, the works for his castle was resumed but it never realized after another tragedy struck- Smith died of pneumonia.

The temple is situated few kilometers away and there is a secret tunnel leading to the temple from the Kellie's Castle. The temple is also visible from the rooftop of the castle. So when you go there, make sure u check it out! :)

The castle of mysteries.....
We were on our way back from UTP, passing by the place and it was really so attractive that dad decided to check it out...from the exterior, the castle looks complete, and only when we took a closer look, the flaws shows...

The moment I stepped inside, a mild breeze gushes by, touching my hair and I was totally swept by an eerie feeling…..as if someone is watching me entering his territory…I immediately looked around…to find nobody in sight…

Alrite, nothing of those happened, I am just exaggerating. Well, sorry for the late post but it is HERE! Here’s the picture of my visit to KELLIE'S CASTLE, built by William Kellie-Smith.

May is always a very very important month for me....Cause i'm a May baby! ;D

To my Big bro, thank you very very much for the delicious cake, really enjoyed the blueberry n cheese filling and it was very yummy.It was so kind of you :D And for the surprise birthday party that you guys threw me, I can’t find exact word to thank all of you. I’m indeed a blessed girl, my special thanks goes to all who attended the party especially the duo's behind it - Dhiva akka and Angel darling. And the part I loved most is the balloon joke. Hilariously funny. Thank you so much guys! ( i got cute gifts hehe)

And on Mothers day, i made myself....

My flower ring! Isn’t it pretty? Mum made a cynical remark on this which immediately made me burst out laughing! Mum you are so funny at times .Love you so much! Made her Van Houtten chocolate cake -forgot to take the pic hehe..

And in the following week, i went for 2 movies with friends, watched Night at the museum 2. The movie was good, and we had a good laugh, I was laughing like a mad girl there accompanied by dozens more people.

And on a different day I went again with my sisters but this time I opt to watch a movie all alone. Had never done that before and just want to try. So I picked “ I love you Man”. My sis warned me that I would end up regretting and bored inside the theater all alone but being a very stubborn person, I insist that I must go and experience it. Well, the movie went on quite lame in the beginning, and when I was starting to regret, the story starts to get exciting. And it was quite good too, it is about a man who is about to get married and then realizes he has nobody as his best man. After getting too much remarks of how lonely guy he is- with nobody to hang out other than his fiancee, he attempts to find a best buddy and the story is all about it.(Let me tell you a truth...when i saw the poster i thought it is a movie about gays!-i feel cheated! hehe)

Never the same

Life had never been the same lately. I thought i will have a hectic schedule and no time to do anything else. Well i was so wrong. Things are getting fun actually. Minus handling the really large class of 46, with 10 hyperactive - i'm so dead for my observation. The rest is alright, with the friendly teachers in school. Hopefully i'll blend well with them.

Alright, moving on to the next story, i was devastated upon reading the news the day before yesterday. More and more people dying because of the snatch thieves. Worse case still, the woman who died recently was pregnant and has 2 more small children who needs her love to grow..... I had enough at a glance of her family members picture. Kids who were too young to understand what happened and the husband whose grieving clearly shown on his face. Life wont ever be the same for him and the kids. All snatched away.

Seriously I feel its a must for all the snatch thieves to be sentenced to death. They snatch money n lives. Do you agree?

It had been a while since i got the time to update, life is really full of surprises for me now. With the heavy workload in school i'm teaching in now ( yes i am teaching! hehe) , and lots of thing more, its too much to lists all out here, can't find much time to do other stuffs. Maybe it's because i'm still new in the working world, going through practicals right now really giving me a hard time to cope with. Well, it takes time to adapt and i'm just following the ancient rules now. Hopefully everything will get better in time to come. By now i'm already in the second week of teaching, 12 weeks more to go!!! Love each moment that i'm going through, and hope i will in years to come too!

A very good friend of mine, Arvin conducted a charity activity on the end of last year, and I decided to post it up for him, because he’ll be organizing more activities soon and he is certainly going to need contributions and also manpower to conduct all the activities as planned. A lovely Saturday morning on the 13^th of December, I organized a visit to an orphanage at Kapar, Klang. The name of the home is PHILEA KIDS HOME. I brought my parents, and a few of my friends Murali , Audry (university mates) and Sudhashini (a close friend of mine). I actually planned this visit a few months ago that was in July. I knew this home from Kavita who is a friend of mine. I have been to a few homes before but those trips were organized by some other organizations. This time around I planned to come up with my own plan. The purpose of this visit was to donate some stationary and uniforms to the kids as schooling day was just around the corner. We also brought some food along for them. The place is run by a lady named Mrs. Yoges. She works as a teacher and at the same time, she runs the home too. She has around 26 kids under her care ages ranging from 3 to 17 years old. These are young lives fractured by alcoholic, drug-addicted and abusive parents or desperate single mothers.

We were very much welcomed by the kids from the home. I have high expectation on the outlook of the house but it wasn’t a very big house that can have a very big group of orphans there. It’s just a small house which has 3 rooms in it. Aunty Yoges also rents another home nearby for the boys to stay. They also have a small library and a computer centre.

I love to see these kids. They really love all of us whom went to visit them. The kids are so lovely and they are really in need of love from their parents. At such young age they are left by their parents who are not responsible at all. One thing I admire in them is that they work together as a big family. They take care of each other and we can see that they are very close in relationship among each other.

The above picture, the small cute girl is the youngest one at the home. She is only 3 years old. She loves to be with us, always wanting someone to carry, talk and play with her.

Of course, the kids love my camera very much. Not only my camera, my friends also captured the sweet moment with mobile phones and compact camera. Their smiles and laughter are out from their pure and clean heart.

Of course, every kid is full of potential skills. They love to dance, sing and are also active in sports. The caretaker also conducts classes like cooking and tailoring for the older ones so that they can acquire some extra skills in life.

We distributed things such as school bags, uniforms, shoes, stationary and workbooks. They were indeed very happy to receive them. New stuffs to go back to school in the New Year.

At the end of the day, the kids were very happy to receive us there and also the gifts. the "caring for all" action is to be carried out continuously to help more people and the society.

I'm back home again, after such a long time. I'm sorry for such a long break, and there is no update for more than a month, was busy with final semester (ah, finally i'm done!). I have 2 pending posts, about the charity homes, and i'm working on it and will post it soon. Been so occupied for past 2 weeks, the spm results are out and busy helping my brother applying for scholarship. The first week of my holiday are heaven, went to my friend's hometown and took a lot of pictures. Seriously, like 100 pic for a day.

The Pearl Island

I had a great time in Penang Island last weekends., witnessing the best Thaipusam ever in my life with more to come *winks*. I planned to go for it a month ahead, first with my friends, but they cancelled it off a week before the actual date, 8th February 2009. I was dissapointed as i was the one so eager in planning the trip. Luck in my side, 3 days later my cousin brother buzzed me and ask wheter i want to join him and my aunt to the Island. God knows how gratefull i were at that moment. "He" really wants me to tag along and make it for the religious ceremony. My parents allowed at the idea of me going with my aunt, and voila, i was in Penang 2 days after that!
The journey however, was bitter. It took full 9 hours to reach there from my hometown. Really exhausted but when i stepped my foot on the island, somehow it all flew away. Glad to be able to make it this year, and hopefully, years to come. Here comes the pictures.

The only delicacy that i tried in Penang as i was being a vegetarian. Check out the MOLE!!

Lets move on to the pictures of the 'Tannir Panthal'. It was meant to donate free drinks and foods for the devotees. I admire their effort they put in decorating it. Really fascinating!

I really liked this very much and believe it or not, it is made entirely from polystyrene.
It's absolutely gorgeous!

Finally,The kiss from Penang! the most unique manequin i had ever seen and it sent my cousin brother and me laughing hilariously on the street of Penang!!!! hahaha ;-P

I had never realize how much i love myself...until it happened again today. I have been labeling myself unlucky all this time as i rarely get what i want. Mum have been warning me not to put high hope on anything because she don't want to see me get hurt. Well, being a normal human being didn't stop me for putting a high hope on something i really want.

and holidays in all the fabulous beaches in the world!

I am not sure whether i will be able to afford all my dreams, because it comes with a very high price. One thing for sure, I WILL HAVE a peaceful and quiet life, and that alone will be adequate enough for me as i realize, being materialistic won't end me up anywhere big.

But again!, today, my feelings was ignored completely and an one-man-action was taken. To be frank, it hurts like hell. It really does. But who cares? well, I DON'T . I may look like a loser, but open your eyes wider and look! YOU are the one who had lost everything. And you won't be able to realize it. Because you are having the big three letter word in you this very moment, which is very poisonous and it is called E- G- O. Yes, that's the word. When the time comes, you will be eaten by your self-conscience, *sigh*, u definitely will if u have one, which in your case i really doubt. Ermmm....

XIN NIAN KUAI LE....happy new year to all chinese ppl!!!!

Well, i'm back here again, counting months to go to complete my degree...can't wait and at the same time i still feel that it's too good to end...the happy times with my classmates and housemates...i'll be surely missing them terribly. One sure thing is that the time is really flying away ( i mean it literally!)...gooosh and here we are, it had been 27 days since the birth of the year. This 27 days had not been sweet at all for me...some bitterness had found comfort in my zone...

There had been few activities that really engaged me last few weeks, we had "Ekstravaganza Malaysia", a cultural dance competition in which i participated- our group did the 'orang ulu' dance (originated from Sarawak), the pictures are coming up later. And in the same week, we had our "One Day Camp"
for the cocuriculum in education subject. I was in charge of the PBSM activities, glad that it all turns out well. We had a blasting day surely, with a great dinner- we had barbeque. It was a tiring day, but it was worth it. And the banner is awesome!!!!!totally...i'll upload that one soon too..you'll know why its awesome when you see the picture of it!!hehehe...... i'm waiting for the photographer's pictures as usual...much more clearer from my 3.2 (sob sobs...)

In the following week, our junior had their Play Production. Well they did a great job and it's a lot of effort they had putted in, with some characters that had really impressed me...and it gave me the deja'vu feeling-nothing can buy the precious memory of our own cohort's play production...what a relieve we had after that,and now we are missing it....
The best thing is that we are still strong after all the hurdles we had gone through during that time...

I don't know what's happening lately.....i'm having trouble sleeping....and its since the New Year...-2009 with my sleeping time snatched away???

I need my sleep back!!!!! i want my happy hour dream land session and rise at the sound of my alarm clock after it's 3rd time snoozing.....i don't want to wake up before my alarm rings as i do now...I'm writing this out now with the frustration of not being able to sleep...it's really hard... - i swept the house 2 times, washed all my clothes, scrubbed the bathroom sink, rearrange the furniture in my room, and clean all my notes.

And now I have a clean room, my laundry done, and checked my reflection on the hall's floor......

I ponder--->Is it good or bad for me????

I envy you! :-(

The new year celebration in Sunway really rocks-this is the first time i watched fireworks from the rooftop...Not in a very good mood actually at that time but i really welcomed 2009 with all my heart and wondering what it has in store for me... I would like to thank every special people who had touched my life with their love and care, be there for me when i'm in serious need- made me believe that there are still people with humanities alive, and all of you made my life much more meaningful.No matter what character you played in my life, i'm appriciating it all....and to my special someone--->i don't know whether u'll be reading my blog or not,or even know that she exists, but just want to let u know how much i love and care for you, no matter what happens i'll still care for you and there is NO running away from me! and no, it's not a joke..i really mean it alright! ;-P

So...for this year, i don't want to think so much about all the problems i have been facing and worry about it day and night like i'll usually do. Instead, i'll be asking god for more. I'm too old for the craps animore..and refusing to grow up all the time.

Alright, i'm wishing all my readers Happy New Year again, and this year i promise that u'll see more posts from me, i'm not gonna keep and delay all my posts again. And do care about other people's feelings and learn how to forgive- happiness matters more than anything else.

Outing wit my cousin...for the first time in my life i'm hanging out with people same as my age...hadn't had any chance since i was in standard 5....i hv been hanging out with old people which does really influence my 'cute'ness hehehe...well, i do think i'm quite matured for my age, and being bullied- as i am always the youngest in the class, had taught me to become more tougher and it had become a part of my life now...i do feel empty if i'm not being bullied even for a day! hehehe, now i sound like i'm asking for it..lol....realli missed those days without my cousin around...it had been years since both of us meet each other, and i'm really glad i found you now......such a sweet girl- i hope u won't be flattered too much, coz i'm saying this out of my gratitude for your treat in Tony Roma's. hehehehe, nah just kidding...i'm really hoping we'll become the best cousins ever!!!fuhh!!!!hehehhee..and to Chuman a.k.a the coconut tree, thanks a lot for the bowling coaching and it's good to meet someone so realistic as u! although i totally disagree on your liking-you know what i mean and Surya totally rocks man!!!that is undeniable alright!!!!ok ok i win!!!lolz....thanks to both of you i din't spend a single cent for the food and bowling (so paiseh!) Hmmm...try do the same next time and both of you will see the other side of Vaithes- ok that should sound scary enough...lol

I had never ever had any class on a Saturday before (except for exams), but today i had to wake up at 7 am after only 3 hours sleep. The smart Cocu lecturer made all of us to do our poster presentation today!!arrrgghh. The presentation suppose to start at 9 am, but she came in late-around 9.30 and started scolding us for not putting up our posters on the wall yet. How are we suppose to know???She did mention in it the last class but we were thinking that each group has to put the poster up in front and present it instead of pasting on the surrounding wall. Then she spent another 30 minutes scolding us like small kids-and we had to listen to it silently......Seriously, it is not a very big thing to make such a big fuss about. She wasted another 30 minutes just to scold us and spoil our mood for the presentation. She could had done it after the presentation and made us feel more guilty. By the way, the rest of the presentation went off well although I paused here and there finding for suitable words in Malay to use. My Malay is getting terrible!!!- can't speak a sentence without any English words in it.

Went to a Malay restaurant afterward for lunch, the food was not bad though, and then 5 of us decided to go to Jusco Bukit Tinggi to do some window shopping since we don't have any fruitful activity else to do.

And presenting Miss Disney princess Malaysia Aeon 2008- such a pretty girl with a delightful smile,she was talking to few people when I wanted to snap this picture,and when she notices me, she immediately pause and gave me the smiling pose. A princess indeed.

We had no idea that the event were taking place until we saw some cuties performing on the stage and it was so entertaining and adorable i tell u. A little mermaid really impressed me, she was singing while playing with the hula hoop!!!and it didn't drop =.=! (i don't even know how to play the hula hoop*heavy sigh*)

Well, the window shopping ended with some of us with shopping bags as you can see from the pictures...we can't resist the 70% sale sign-and with a crazy shopaholic insisting that we should buy this and that because it is worth for the money (she really tried so hard to insist me to get something but I am damn broke-again!!!! and had to forget the idea totally)

Had our hearty dinner, and headed back home after patiently driving through Klang's-as-usual-very-the-busy roads...
